Your roadmap to success for 2026!
Intentional Beginnings
It’s a new year filled with new and fresh energy! And that always brings the universal desire for resolutions and change. But this year is NOT about perfection, it’s about growth! It’s about figuring our what it is you’d like to accomplish and taking action steps toward it. Remember that YOU get to define your own success. You are allowed to go at your own pace and still reach your goals. Let’s talk about it!
Why Goal Setting Matters As A Cam Model
Being your own boss means that you are the one in charge of creating structure. A great way to create structure is to start by defining your goals. This will also reduce burnout! Think of your goals as a way to log on with intention. Without goals, every slow day feels personal.
The 3 Goal Pillars
When you’re ready to write out your cam career goals for 2026, you can start by dividing them up into categories. This makes it easier and more clear to define your goals. There are three main categories you can stick to:
Performance
- Hours worked
- Consistency
- Skill Growth
Financial
- Monthly Income
- Weekly Targets
- Tip Goals
Personal/Wellness
- Boundaries
- Mental Health
- Rest Days
Realistic Money Goals
Listen, we all want to make more money right? So why not approach it in a healthy way this year! No more pressure, no more disappointed outcomes. More action! Start with a monthly money goal of how much you’d like to make on cam within 30 days. Then, break that amount down into weekly and per shift goals so you have something to aim for each time you log on! If you’re struggling to figure out where to start, you can base your goals off of your average income, then you can watch those numbers increase more throughout the year. Remember to stay flexible, your goals can always change and that is totally okay! Consistency will always beat one amazing cam shift!
Outcome Goals vs Process Goals
When you have big goals you’re going to need to find a way to go about making them happen. That starts with action steps, or what we like to call, process goals. Your process goals are going to be the intentions that you set to reach the larger goal you have in place. For example:
Say your outcome goal is “I want to make $5,000 a month”.
Your process goals will look something like:
- Streaming 4-5 days a week
- Setting a minimum hours per shift
- Coming up with shift themes, games and strategies for your streams
Time Management < Energy Management
If you work with your energy, you will have so much more success and feel so much greater! You can track your high earning days and times to see where you are performing best and where traffic is the highest. You can also build your schedule around your goals and intentions. And most importantly be sure to work with how you feel! Give the percentage you can when you log on, not every day will be 100%, this will help you prevent burnout. Remember YOU are the product and the talent, protect your energy.
Boundaries Are A Business Strategy
Setting boundaries is essential to accomplishing what you want to achieve. You have to have your own list of limits for yourself, your fans and your work schedule. Boundaries protect long-term income and clear rules can prevent burnout. Rest is productive, make sure you give yourself the time to do that!
Examples
- Setting clear “off hours”
- Scheduled days off
- Saying NO when you are not comfortable
Tracking Progress Without Obsession
Make sure do do weekly check-ins with yourself to see how you’re feeling about your goals, your progress and your energy. This will reduce a lot of daily pressure and anxiety! Track all of your hours and income. And make sure to celebrate ALL of your wins, big or small! Celebrate progress, NOT just numbers!
When You Fall Off Track
Because this is inevitable! Remember that slumps are completely normal! You can always adjust your goals when needed, just don’t adjust your worth. Do not guilt yourself when this happens, because it happens to us all. Recommit without shame!
Journaling Prompts
Visualizing Your Next Level Self
Ask Yourself:
- How do I show up online?
- How do I handle slow days?
- How do I speak to myself?
Affirmation
I show up as the version of me who already succeeds!
Action Step – Make It Stick
- One financial goal
- One consistency goal
- One self-care boundary
Remember that small, aligned steps create big results!
