2025 review

Here’s What You Don’t Have To Carry Moving Forward.

Before we reflect, let’s acknowledge, you made it through a demanding year!

Things you did: That.

You showed up constantly while managing emotional labor! It’s not always easy to put on your best face and hop on cam to entertain others, but you did it, in the good times and the bad. You balanced performing intimacy, confidence and intimacy. That’s huge! You also carried pressure silently, all of the tough times you went through, the silent battles you fought, and the stress you felt with along the way. Give yourself a big hug for being there for yourself. And don’t forget to celebrate all of your wins! Big or small, it all matters. Think back to any of those goals you set at the beginning of the year and pat yourself on the back.

What You Did Right This Year

  • You showed up on days you didn’t want to.
  • You learned what does and doesn’t work for you.
  • You protected yourself more than you realized.
  • You adapted to changes in energy, income, or life.
  • You kept going in a job that can be unpredictable and very vulnerable at times.

The Invisible Weight You Carried This Year

There is so much that you carry as a cam model that others don’t see! Even more things that are here on this list. Remember at IGF, we see you. Take a look back at all that you carried with you throughout the year:

  • Emotional availability on demand.
  • Guilt around rest or logging off.
  • Income and success anxiety.
  • Setting and sticking to your boundaries.

Reframing For Next Year

It’s time to shift that survival mindset into a strength one! Remember, you didn’t just “get through” the year – you learned a lot about yourself and this industry through your own experiences! Now it’s time to shift the narrative for next year.

You Learned Boundaries

You took the time to listen to yourself and your needs so you can be comfortable each shift knowing you are only doing things that you want to do!

You Gained New Tools

Through IGF Trainings, examples from others and your own personal experiences you learned a lot about how you want to operate in this industry moving forward!

You Discovered What You’re Capable Of

Through all the long shifts, posting schedules, multitasking, organization and triumphs, you showed yourself all that you can do, and you should be so proud of yourself!

What You’re Allowed To Leave In 2025

If this year were a bag, what are you removing from it to make it lighter for next year?

  • Numbers Defining Your Worth
  • Overworking To Prove Value/Guilt For Not Doing Enough
  • Comparison To Other Creators & Models
  • Carrying Difficult Interactions Alone

Enter The New Year Without Burning Yourself Out

Reframe Expectations:

  • You do not need a full blown rebrand just because it’s the new year.
  • You don’t need extreme goals.
  • You don’t need to change yourself to fir into any kind of social standard.

Gentle Alternatives:

  • One boundary you keep for one habit you release.
  • One new way per month that you can support yourself and your cam career.
  • One way you rest and unwind on purpose.

Carry Less, Not More

Remember that you don’t need to push yourself past your limits, compare yourself to others, do things you don’t want to yo and apply unnecessary pressure onto yourself.

Instead:

  • Carry discernment.
  • Carry self-trust.
  • Carry optimism.

You survived the year. Next Year you get to be supported by yourself again, but with even more growth and knowledge than you had before!
